Acts 2:45-47 talks about life in the early church, and the care that believers shared for one another. “All the believers were together and had everything in common. They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people.”
At Crossroads we’re committed to caring for one another and for others in need by keeping our food pantry stocked with essentials. How do we keep the shelves stocked? We all pitch in – giving as we can – and pick up extra items when we shop for ourselves.
Most needed items are canned goods, peanut butter, macaroni and cheese and other non-perishable items. Please consider picking up a few extra things as you shop this week and bring them to church on Sunday. The greeters at the door can show you where to drop them off.
If you’re in need, just call us at (620) 229-8464 or speak with the greeters on Sunday morning.
