There are two things that we desire to known for in CK: 1. engaging children’s lives through God-centered, grace-centered and relevant teaching, and 2. partnering with parents to raise their children in a way that honors the Lord. “We will not hide them from their children, but tell to the coming generation the glorious deeds of the Lord and his might and the wonders that he has done… That the next generation might know them, the children yet unborn, and arise and tell them to their children, so that they should set their hope in God and not forget the works of God, but keep his commandments.” – Psalm 78:4, 6-7 “All authority in heaven and earth has been given to me. Ther
efore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you..”– Matthew 28:18-20
The Crossroads Kids Ministry Team is made up of believers who have a growing relationship with Christ and a passion to teach children about Him. These members are also expected to pray fervently for the children in the ministry, be reliable, and come prepared on days they are scheduled for. There are two basic ways you can be involved in this ministry: 1. CK Team Leader– this is the title given to those teaching in the classrooms. There are always 2 leaders in a classroom, one in charge of the teaching and one assistant. The basic curriculum is already established, but leaders have some freedom in the way they teach the material. These members get the most opportunity to build relationships with our kids! 2. CK Check-In Team- this is the title given to those who initially welcome families on Sunday mornings and safely and efficiently get children registered and checked into their classrooms.
We are always looking for additional help in CK! Please contact Stacie Nelson or Misty Kramer at CK@connectatcrossroads.com for more information.
